The Deploy rebrand, explained

Hive started nearly a decade ago with AI models for content moderation and says it now runs more than 20 proprietary models. As Deploy, it is broadening its mission to an enterprise AI inference platform for open-source frontier and proprietary models. The post names no design studio.

The company says it is not starting from scratch. All existing Hive accounts and logins stay active, and the former Hive Portal is now the Deploy platform. CEO Kevin Guo puts it this way: "We’ve never been a company that limits itself to a single AI application."

Side by side, the old logo set three vertical rounded bars in a blue gradient, the middle one tallest, next to the name Hive in widely spaced dark gray capitals. The new logo pairs a blue double chevron, one solid and one outlined, with a Deploy wordmark in near-black.

In short: Hive became Deploy in October 2026, trading its gradient bars for a blue double chevron.
