The Auros rebrand, explained
The company says the change reflects its move into training, evaluating and improving AI, powered by a network of 7.6 million verified people across 34 core markets. Auros brings UserTesting, User Interviews and a growing AI business together as one company.
UserTesting and User Interviews continue as product brands under Auros. The release says leadership, existing customer contracts and day-to-day operations are unchanged.
The name was created by Lexicon Branding. Its case study says the name draws on aurum, the Latin word for gold. No designer is credited for the logo.
The old logo put UserTesting in a bright blue speech bubble, with the word User cut out of the bubble and Testing in blue beside it. The new logo is a single dark navy: a ring of short broken rays like a sunburst, beside a lowercase auros wordmark.
In short: In 2026 UserTesting renamed its company Auros, with a navy sunburst logo replacing the blue speech bubble.

“We didn't change our name to be seen differently. We changed because we've already become something different.”
