The Everus Construction Group rebrand, explained
MDU Resources announced on Mar 13, 2024 that MDU Construction Services Group had been renamed Everus Construction Group. The company said the rebrand prepared the business to become a standalone public company.
"Rebranding the construction services business prepares Everus to be a standalone, publicly traded company, separate from the MDU ticker symbol," said Nicole A. Kivisto, president and chief executive of MDU Resources. Jeffrey S. Thiede, president and chief executive of Everus, added: "We're very excited about this new identity for our company."
Everus completed its spinoff from MDU Resources on Nov 1, 2024 and began regular way trading on the New York Stock Exchange as ECG.
The logo pairs a green E symbol with Everus in navy capitals and construction group in small capitals underneath. The business previously operated under the MDU Construction Services Group name, but we found no official file of an earlier logo, so this entry shows the Everus logo only.
In short: MDU's construction arm got its own name, Everus, and a green E ahead of its spinoff.
