The Kenvue rebrand, explained
Johnson & Johnson announced the name on 28 September 2022 for the business behind Tylenol, Neutrogena, Listerine and Band-Aid. The name joins "ken", a mainly Scottish word for knowledge, with "vue", a reference to sight.
According to the release, the logo centres on a K symbol: the rectangle stands for scientific precision and the rounded edges for the warmth of care. Wolff Olins designed the identity.
The new logo came into use when the company separated from Johnson & Johnson, starting with its stock market listing in May 2023.
