The OpenMove AI rebrand, explained
Shareholders approved the change of name at an extraordinary general meeting in Petaling Jaya on Jan 7, 2026. According to the company's own summary of the meeting, the new name is "in line with the Company's rebranding strategy." The company's announcement on Bursa Malaysia says the name took effect on Jan 8, 2026, after the Companies Commission of Malaysia registered it.
OpenMove AI sells software and services to general insurers and financial services companies. Its website lists InsuranceSuite, CommissionSuite and MoveNet, alongside an AI engine. No studio is credited.
The Rexit logo was a lowercase rexit wordmark, with a small teal arrow made of three triangles sitting above the i. The OpenMove AI logo moves the arrow to the front, redraws it in teal, green and blue, and sets the full name next to it.
