## The rebrand, explained

Most people know TurboTax, QuickBooks, Credit Karma or Mailchimp. Far fewer could name the company that owns them all. Intuit's 2026 rebrand is an attempt to fix that. Creative Review reported that the new platform, called One Intuit, brings the products into a common design system so audiences recognize one trusted brand behind them, alongside a new website that tells the Intuit story for the first time.

The work was by JKR with Intuit's in house creative team, as both Creative Review and the design blog Brrranding report. The agency's framing is that over seven years Intuit had turned from a set of separate tools into one connected, AI driven platform whose products increasingly work together and do more of the work for customers, and the rebrand had to make that change visible. JKR executive creative director Michael Ciancio told Creative Review that people trust the individual products but do not always connect that value to the company, and that research showed trust in Intuit rises sharply when they do, along with their willingness to try more of its products.

The centerpiece is the first letter. The redesigned lowercase wordmark gives up its i to a standalone symbol, used from app icons and product screens to large campaigns, and that i opens into Intuit Intelligence, the new name for AI and human experts working together, so customers know which they are dealing with. Brrranding notes the line See what i can do, which turns the letter into a pun on the company itself. JKR says the wordmark is meant to feel more human, approachable and ready for the AI era.

The system around it is thorough. A custom typeface, Tally, drawn with Jeremy Mickel of Mckl Type Foundry, is described as hardworking with a human wink, and its shapes inspired a set of icons. The palette is led by a color called Superblue, with Blueberry unifying the main brands, plus illustration, high contrast photography, motion and a new tone of voice.

The strategy is unarguable: a holding company that wants to cross sell needs a face. The i device is clever, and the AI pun will either feel charming or wear thin quickly. The real test is whether a masterbrand layer adds trust to TurboTax and Credit Karma or simply adds clutter to their screens.

In short: Turning a portfolio into one i.
