## The rebrand, explained

Amply grew out of Jobbio, a recruitment technology business, and by 2024 its look still carried that parentage. In its IDI Awards entry Rowdy Studio says the legacy branding, "tied to Jobbio", no longer represented Amply as an independent platform. The studio's case study lists a brand platform, a verbal and visual identity, investor and sales decks, and a website interface. Rowdy posted about the project on LinkedIn on Aug 5, 2024. It may have launched a little earlier, but that post is the first dated trace we found.

The old wordmark began with a capital A that had an arrow-shaped notch, followed by lowercase letters in a heavy geometric sans serif. The new wordmark is all lowercase and lighter. The l ends in a foot that runs to the right, and the descender of the y hooks left. Both are white in the header files on amply.co. The comparison is our own reading of copies saved from the Wayback Machine.

Rowdy's award entry describes the color this way: "The visual identity operates in ‘dark mode’, symbolising exploration of the unknown, while Amply’s signature green acts as a vibrant beacon". The case study names the green mark the Amply Marker, and an Amply ecosystem in four modes: Interact, Explore, Distil and Elevate. The award entry gives the same four modes to a motif it calls the Amply murmur. We read these as one device, though the studio does not say so. The green has no published hex code.

The mission Rowdy set is to "create moments of value for audiences that matter, everywhere it counts". The case study adds three brand principles, Always Adding, Hungry Optimists and Seriously Savvy, and says adtech had come to be seen as a "dirty word". The studio also built a website with creative coding.

Rowdy's award pages credit its own team. The IDI entry lists Halley Anne Kennedy as creative director, Joshua Roy as designer, Camilla Hunt as strategist and Daisy Forrestor as account manager. The 100 Archive says the project was "Designed by Lisa Clarke and Halley Anne Kennedy at Rowdy Studio". Amply published no announcement that we could find, so every credit comes from the studio's side.

Rowdy's award entries also say Amply passed 100 partners and now reaches over 1 billion people a month. That is the studio's claim, and Amply has not repeated it anywhere we looked. Brand New lists the change, but only its headline loads without a subscription, so nothing here comes from it. We found no readable trade write-up. On Oct 23, 2026 amply.co calls the company "AI recruiting software", which differs from the adtech business Rowdy described. The lowercase wordmark in the header is unchanged.

In short: Amply swapped its capital A wordmark for a lowercase one and a dark-mode identity.
